Senior Sales - Personalization Platform

Datavillage is an early-stage startup based in Belgium developing an innovative data platform allowing companies to get access to personal data and process it without having to collect it in their systems and manage it themselves. We are looking for an experienced Senior Sales to join, with solid international experience selling analytics and CDP technology softwares to help us build our consumer-centric data platform and personalization business. Our ambition is to diversify in different sectors such as media, finance and retail / e-commerce.


After their digital transformation companies are now facing a new challenge with their data one to fuel their AI and digital user experience strategies. The increasingly restrictive regulatory environment and consumers’ reluctance to share personal information are making it very hard for companies to fully realise the potential of their digital and data strategies and remain competitive facing new threats from global players.

Datavillage’s mission is to unlock the value of personal data for those companies so they can compete in the digital era while minimizing the hassle and risks related to access to personal data.

Our primary focus today is the media industry in which our solution allows media companies to enhance the digital experiences of their users within their own platforms (OTT, publishing, …) and across different journeys, as we aim to expand in other sectors. Our targets are mid- to large-sized companies with complex organizational structures.

You role at Datavillage

  • Setup and activate sales strategies alongside the company’s founders.

  • Prospect and qualify new accounts on the European market.

  • Manage the sales process from qualification of prospects to deals closing and beyond.

  • Develop your network within our clients in order to guide internal decision makers.

  • Co-create a value proposition with the market that will create a prosperous sales cycle and in the meantime help to develop a product market fit.

Your profile

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and passionate professional with deep background in sales and extensive experience selling marketing softwares. You have:

  • Strong experience and proven track record selling internationally Marketing Softwares, CDP, optimization, decisioning or personalization technologies (at least 5 years). (Selling platforms such as Segment, Selligent, Emarsys, Tealium audience stream, ...)

  • You have an entrepreneurial and autonomous mindset and are able to create trusted relationships with clients and prospects.

  • You have an obsessive closing mentality and are value driven.

  • You have the ability to understand clients' issues and how our solution can solve them.

  • You have an analytical mindset that can find out the best way to deliver value to a client.

  • You have outstanding communication skills in at least two of the following languages: English, French and Dutch (the three languages are a real plus).
